….and here we are, at the unofficial start of Summer 2016 - Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
This month also marks the end of my first year back in the acting world, and what an educational, inspiring and motivating year it’s been!
For those of you in the NYC area, I hope you’ll come to see me in the limited run of CHRISTMAS ON MARS, by renowned playwright Harry Kondoleon. It’s just four performances (June 8, 9, 10, 11) at the Episcopal Actors’ Guild, 1 East 29th Street between Fifth & Madison Avenues, and you may reserve your seat at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2548784. My character, Bruno Ward, is unlike any I’ve played before - it’s been a great experience and I’d love to share it with you. See you after the show!
Since the beginning of 2016, I’ve also shifted focus to gain experience and training in on-camera projects. I’ve attended incredibly informative workshops and consultations at Actors Green Room, and have completed the three phases of Commercial Acting 101 with the amazingly talented Bill Coelius. I’ve been fortunate enough to book four on-camera projects over the last few months - the feature film “39 and a Half” (thank you Amanda Lerner!!!) and the short films “A Mormon Story”, “Into the Dark” and “The Last Will”. Of course, I’ll keep you posted when any of the films are released or appear in film festivals.
I’m also excited to announce that I’m working with friends to create a web series! We are in preliminary planning stages right now, but I will be producing, writing, and starring in the series, which is a workplace comedy. More details to follow as our project progresses….
Wishing you a relaxing holiday weekend, and an enjoyable, productive summer!
